We launched our helicopters, we launched our RHIBS. We stand on station with crew served weapons. We practice handling detainees. All the while the seas stay calm, the fisherman fish, and the northeastern monsoon awaits it’s new season. The ocean is 82°F here, the air warmer and nearly as humid. The winds are light from the northwest. It’s going to be a long month. The status board says 9 paydays. My mind knows that means at least eighteen weeks.
